Book Magazine sought to capture the ancillary fun, dynamism and gravity of authors and books, not the obvious fun of, you know, actually reading. The way people continue to pursue this disruptive mode of information acquisition continues to fascinate me, even as technology has drastically changed obvious aspects of it.
